We drove up and met Loren and Carrie (Lander) yesterday. Rode for a couple of hours and hit rain, snow, sleet and even some dry weather. Excellent riding due to the fact there was absolutely NO DUST!! No snow to speak of either, just great riding!

Good work Kendo, pretty much perfect, eh? Sounds like the snow melted out faster than I thought it would.

Did you go up to Verdi Peak or over Beacon Point? If the shady spots are snow free up there, things are looking real-real good. All this dang late winter had me worried. :D

We didn't go to Verdi on Sunday, but Loren told me they went on Saturday. Made it to the lookout too. He said there were a few drifts they had to run thru, but no one got stuck and they did make it all the way up.

I was surprised at the lack of snow myself. Looks like maybe another weekend or two of nice weather and ALL of it will be gone.
