Rubicon 4-12-08

Postby ATV'er » Sun Apr 13, 2008 10:08 am

Yesterday we headed up towards the rubicon. They stopped plowing Ice House Road just past the loon lake turn off. We parked there and road down the road for a while. Then we headed and ran some differnt trials. Some spots didnt have any snow others had 5-6 feet or more. I got really stuck a coupe of times and got tired of winching. I would think in about two weeks it would be fun to go up there again.

Looks like, uh, fun!

With temps like these, we should see some serious melt action continuing!

Cool! Any day you've got a throttle under your thumb is a good day, right? 8)

Sounds like what my wife would say if I asked her to run our back and see if she could get our Grizzlies out of the den (while I'd be up on the deck sipping a beer and videoing the whole thing).

Rubicon is bad enough without snow, I can't imagine doing it with snow

Hey wait a minute Kendo, that's a grrrreat idea for a video! Yeah, I can see it now. I just disable the 4WD engage on my wife's Grizzly, and when we do our 2008 version of Fresh Tracks (sans Quad Collision hopefully)... the actors will be "motivated" (as they say in Hollywood)!
