RotopaX Group Purchase, new style of fuel flat pack

Postby oldtrucks » Tue Mar 17, 2009 7:58 pm

RotopaX Flat Packs are made by the company that did the original Kolpin Flat packs with some great changes. If you are interested in any of the containers or mounting hardware I have an opportunity to get a reasonable price on everything they sell.

Their standard flat pack is 4 gallons and comes CARB compliant. The rest of their system allows for mixing and matching of packs, so the user has the ability to carry different products at different times without altering their mounting system.

The 4 gallon is usually $89.95 plus shipping, special is $75 + tax
The 2 gallon is usually $54.95 plus shipping, special is $45 + tax
If you need it shipped you would need to add that. If we get enough interest we may be able to get the price knocked down a few bucks.

Each large tank comes with 4 velcro straps, each pair of the smaller tanks come with straps and clips to secure them together. If you're interested PM and I will start a list

I like the way the tool kit can be intagrated. That can give you lots of differnt options.

Seems ideal, it's pretty rare to need 4 gallons of fuel on a ride, and using that space for storage makes sense

I have 2 of the 2 gal packs. They work Great. They are very strudy. I know of a Grizzly that had them on his front rack when he went over backwards on Grizz Hill. They got minor scratches but did not leak.

I see this is a really old thread, but its at the top of "for sale". So what's going on with this? Is there still a possibility of a group buy?? I'm interested.
