Several important land use and access updates warrant this short email to you.
A lot is happening in our recreation world, and Spring is here! Please follow these links and visit those pages that apply to you or your club/group. Spread the word.

1. Easter Jeep Safari, Moab, Utah, NEW RULES!! BLM and the Red Rock 4Wheelers are changing the game a bit this year for Moab Easter wheeling. These changes affect camping and wheeling, so please read this action alert if you're planning to do Moab in April during Easter: http://www.delalbright.com/Access/alert%20moab%2006.htm

2. Allegiance, our flag and Teddy Roosevelt -- my latest column, available for your use/web site/newsletter. Teddy Said It Best -- we have room in this country for but one flag. Read more and download this article here: http://www.delalbright.com/Articles/allegiance.htm

3. Businesses are supporting the rebuild of my wounded Jeep like never before. I am awed by the sponsorship I am getting as an old land use and access guy. Advance Adapters and Warn Industries are the latest to help out with my rebuild. It's time for us to really show businesses how we appreciate their support to our clubs, raffles, and events. It's also time to show those who don't support us how we're not going to do business with them. See all that is happening with my Jeep and how important this is to all of us who want trails kept open: http://www.delalbright.com/Articles/red_rebuild.htm

4. Rubicon Trail Winter Use and the Rubicon Trail Master Plan: for the third year in a row, local four-wheelers are voluntarily granting winter time sole access via Loon Lake road to non-motorized users (cross-country skiers). This is good PR and a great gesture on our part in order to accommodate many variety of uses on the Eldorado National Forest. FOTR is exemplary in making this voluntary release of motorized use to other recreationists. Subscribe to the FOTR email network, or go here to read what El Dorado County posts about the Plan: http://www.co.el-dorado.ca.us/Rubicon/index.html

5. The Top 10 Survey of Land Use and Access Issues form has been extended through mid-March if you would still like to participate in this survey to help us figure out where future money might be best spent in our trails and riding areas. Go here to fill out the form: http://www.delalbright.com/Articles/top_ten_art.htm

6. Roadless Area lawsuit heating up and BlueRibbon Coalition and other groups are intervening on our behalf. Roadless stuff, road inventory and route designation are probably the biggest things going on nationwide right now and we all need to get tuned up on the latest if you want to help. Our national groups (such as BlueRibbon, United FWDA, NOHVCC, NAMRC, AMA and others) are working on these issues as top priorities. Please read more here: http://www.sharetrails.org

Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in some way.
Thanks, Del

How true.

Good stuff on their though. Supporting (with money) to the Blue Ribbon Coalition, is the best thing you can do to support ATV, Jeeping...etc.

Del works full-time, to make sure we have places to ride.
