I just got home about 10 am today. Mr. Bill and I took a long loop yesterday, West around Excelsior and Moho Mountain to more mines near Marietta. Did some "Bushwacking" trying to make a shortcut and after a near death experience decided to stick to trails and roads. By the time we got back yesterday it was almost 6pm. I got everything loaded, showered, unhooked the motorhome by then it was 7pm.

Bob showed up just as I was getting ready to leave and I spent another 30 minutes chatting with him. He wanted a full report on the days events and when we were coming back. I ended up stopping at the rest area between Reno and Fernley and sleeping there for the night.

4 days just gets you used to the area, I think you could ride for a month out of Mina and not see everything within a days ride. I'll sort through and get some pictures posted, there's a bunch of them.

It would nothing to do a 80-100 mile loop out of camp. We tried to find every mine on the map in there area we were riding. Some great, some just remnants and piles of dirt where they used to be. Now we have a better idea of the area and some of the places we want to see again, and places to skip by.

A 6? Come on.....obviously you didn't factor in difficulty and terrain of the landing area.

Yea maybe your right. There is nothing like 6 to 10" all sharp, jagged, and loose rocks for a landing. I'll up that to a 7
Truly I did not see the landing just the flying in the air.
Let me tell you guys this man knows how to get out of the way of a quad..
