I'm looking at the same thing Dave. A couple friends at work and I are just starting to plan a trip, really have nothing more than that. We have an area in NE Nevada we like, usually about a 5 day trip with travel to and from home. When we get an idea on dates I'll let you know.

Someone went riding with Brad in the dead of Summer...it was so hot and not a drop of shade...he crawled under his Quad, just to find shade.

Fall and Spring are much better. But I'd personally prefer winter....it's cold....but you can always add clothes to be warm.

Austin is Cool............it's about a 500 mile hammer from Oroville. I went threw there a couple of years ago and they had this huge infestation of morman crickets thousands and thousands of them. they look like giant grasshoppers (about three inches long). I was facinated by them, my wife wanted to get the hell out of there.
