Yeah...would love to do it....problem is there...from what I've heard is it's generally miserable....so unless you have a 5th wheel....it sucks.

that can be arranged
Robert has a dodge one ton with a fifth wheel hitch in the back and
a duel trailer Endorsment on his CDL.

Yea we are woundering about how the weather will be and HoW HOTT It is going to get.

I have a trailer that can haul 5 quads and one in the back of my truck
still working out how it is all gonna work at the moment but really wanna pull it off.

Spring and fall are the times to go. It gets hot during the summer.

The nearest town is Yucca Valley if you want to check the weather down there.

Let us know when you think about going. My grandparents live in yucca yalley so I could possibly swing some riding and a visit into one.

I have ridden those trails on my motorcycle many times. They are ok. Not too many big hills, lots of whoops and plenty of rocks and sand. In my opinion, it would be more fun on a race quad, not a utility. Better yet, take your R/C crawler, a lawn chair, and lots of frosty beverages.

If you are talking about the you tube link that you sent, that is not the "johnson valley" that is north of yucca valley. The terrain by yucca is desert riding. AMA district 37 has many races in this location.

that link looks like the right one. Those trails look like fun on a utility, but if you get down near the flats, it is really rough and wooped out.

We just had a ride there for a few days. There are big whoops, sand dunes and lots of big rocks. What a blast. Had 14 riders go up a tough boulder crawl up a wash.

The wind is very strong and would not be fun for a tent camper.
We ride the mountains in the summer and the deserts in the winter.

That's exactly what I've heard....suck winds make tent camping virtually impossible.
