Well, as soon as I said that I found it!

LOL...good. It's really easy. From Reno...just exit 89 toward Susanville...follow the miles that I post in the front page.

This is where you turn left off 89.

Then reset your odometer and follow my instructions on page 1.

So Ken, left on Bear Valley Road then left on Forest Route 07 (Jackson Meadows Road)? :? Think I've got it.

Thanks for the offer Mr.Green, it's been years since I've been camping so I needed to get some gear... even though I'll look like a noob! #-o I think I'm covered! Ha Ha! But what the heck, I need to get out there before I'm too dang old to do it anymore!

I'm really looking forward to this trip, sounds awesome! =D>

I'll be there Friday afternoon. Was hoping to have a shiny new RZR XP by now, but then reality set in and, well, you know.
I put a map together a couple years ago. I'll try to figure out how to post it.

Haha. Seriously...don't go by the "road name". There is none there anyway. If you follow the mileage....at the 14.7 mile mark...you'll make the right bend on 89....and it comes up fast...there is a sign for Jackson Meadows/Weber Lake....you turn left, and left again...within 100 feet...the road is paved. The next left is the one that's likely NOT marked...or at best..you shouldn't count on a sign being there....that left is 9.5 miles...it's just past Weber Lake on your left. About 50 yards after turning left....the road turns dirt. You're on the right path!!

The road is now 11 miles to the lake...there are mileage markers...so you'll know. Stay on the MAIN dirt road! It's obvious... When you get 6 miles in....you'll have the White Rock Lake turn off....it's a V to the left....stay right!! Now the road gets worse....not horrible...but more rocks.

When you actually get to Meadow Lake...you'll be driving down, with the lake on your left. There are a series of campsites....you'll pass those.....and then stay LEFT....the road goes straigth...and literally...drives away from the lake...you don't want that....We camp near that junction....over to your left....within a golf shot of the lake. So if you don't hit a golf ball into the lake.....you're gone too far away from the lake.

I should be getting there....around 7PM on Thursday.....Grey Chevy Duramax....black trailer with RZR. Can't miss me.

Cool beans Ken, thanks for the extra guidance. If you see a red Toyota Tacoma towing a trailer with a silver Grizzly on it, lookin' like a lost tourist... hop in your RZR and go get the knucklehead and don't be too surprised if it's me!

Only thing "wrong" with Will's map....we camp at the bottom end of the lake...not the Top where the icon is...so just be aware.

I am once again found "lagging" with my reply

doulos, glad to hear you can make it out bruther! =D>

PM me with your eta, maybe we can get together somewhere for the trip to lakeside... at least then we will be lost together (or you will be able to blame it on me at that point once we DO finally find camp?) either way!

Once we get on the right dirt/gravel road, I will find my way eventually... lol
