Few things I've noticed:

1. Avatards/Usernames on the right - I bet this version of the board was created by someone from England....
2. Links try to open in the same window
3. Colors - arrrgghh mah eyes LOL

I'll look for another style.

I guess I'm the only one that likes red. #-o

Spammers.

We should see them decrease to none...unless they are human. I have turned on Visual Authentication....(similar to the VIP Code). They now have to enter in the correct letters and numbers (random) in order to register.

Kinda makes me wonder - how much of the internet's network traffic is pings and probes, just trying to get into things? It must be a tremendous amount, looking for vulnerabilities, things to sign into, exploits, blah blah blah. I bet the percentage is pretty high. Watching my firewall, the amount of probes and stuff was just amazing, even after the ISP's filters. Bastards.

I didn't have to redo mine...When I went to edit my profile, it was there. Just had to hit submit.

Although I have BBcode on....it's showing tags. Not sure why yet.

Signatures work fine. Check your profile....When I went to my profile, BBcode, Smiles and URL's were turned off by default for MY profile....the board has them turned ON globally, but you can turn off the code individually.

Probably! Tom installed 2 styles, I've switched to the other style with traditional avatars. I have another style that I will eventually use, that I like better than this one, but is also Left side avatars.

Not sure if I have control over that.

Pussy. ;)

The new one I'm going to use, is still redish them...but more subdued.

IIRC, there is a hack available that addresses the link issue. IMO, the phpBB development team missed the boat on this functionality.

Oh I love red themes - but just not on a white background. In fact, I have ported the red theme (and set as the default) on my LAN party site from phpBB1 --> phpBB2 --> vBulletin cuz I liked it so much. http://www.fusionlangaming.com/forum/index.php

oh and yeah - I concede that I'm a pussy LOLOLOLOL

edit: Not sure if this is something on the back end or not, but after I posted this, I saw the quotes were borked. Edited it to see that BB Code and Smilies are OFF.

Style installed.

Delete your cache, if you are seeing the old one. Should be alot closer to what you were used to....it's still red, but a lot more subdued. Should be easier on the eyes.
