I think the leafy greens were used AFTER the meal..
Some leafy greens sure would have helped avoid this meal's "ending". I was hoping to have a nice salad of indian lettuce, wild spearmint and maybe a pine nut or two. But I rode into that camp site a little too late for any serious foraging. :(

I'm liking you guys' 'super-trailers' more and more. Comfy beds, built-in porcelain fixtures, and if you've got room for 100+ gallons of water, then I'll bet there's plenty of space for a few heads of real lettuce. Even if you do have to drag them down a goat trail or two.

Sorry Kendo, I still feel bad for recommending that Placer State Park road to you. I should have rode down it a bit instead of just ASSuming it would get good as it headed out to civilization.

Naw, don't sweat it. Like I said before, coming out was way easier because we knew what to expect. Going in was the tough part, not knowing if the road was going to dead end or what. I would probably do it again, just because I lived thru the experience. LOL

Plus, it was beautiful country to ride around in! =D>

Bad planning on my part. A couple months ago I agreed to work that Saturday. I am going to see if I can get someone to cover for me.

Wendy will be there too, just not sure if she'll come up with me or drive up later on Friday.

Out of those people, who will be going up Friday morning?

Put me down for a definite maybe. That weekend happens to be the weekend before my company's annual user conference begins here in Truckee (OK, technically in Squaw Valley, but it's all the same to me). So if my lovely, talented, beautiful wife can see her way to letting me off the hook for pre-conference preparation duty... I'm there.

If anyone has a BS meter, please don't tell my wife that it just went off the scale!

I'm going to ride in via a super-secret route to Meadow Lake. That way, I avoid all the jack-knifed, wrecked, and dangling super-trailers on Meadow Lake Road.

Nah, I'm kidding about the road. Just ask Kendo how much I know about that...

P.S. - If anyone needs the "secret" (not) route info and wants to ride in, PM me.
