Yea like the first day at Mina. If I jet it just right I get about a hour on one tank.

I noticed that the 04 500 i was riding last weekend was a fuel hog also.. We went about 60 mile and i had to add a gallon of gas. When I got back to camp the gauge was flashing again..

Those bastards called me to rub it in....I guess turn around is fair play.

They ran into 3-4 feet of snow and had to stop at this same spot.

We didn't get nearly as far as I'd hoped, but still a great day......since we didn't have to work!
Here's a view from February when Ken and I took the same route. This spot was a 4-5 foot drop and impassable without a winch.

Very cool. I'm actually surprised there's as much there, as there is.

Did you make it to the top of the towers where we had lunch?

Dusty looks so dainty side saddle.... =D>

Rode up to the towers without any problems, just a little snow at the very top where we had trouble last trip. Dusty didn't want to get his boots wet, he even showed up dressed....normal Conditions were great, warm and clear, and no dust. I think in another week it should be open all the way through. When we got to the downed trees we should have tried winching them off the trail. I didn't even think of it until we were on our way back. With 3 quads and 3 winches I think we could have at least opened up a spot to drive through.

It was a fun ride, gave D2 some more riding experience I think and Larry and I got to do some exploring and a little rock stuff. . . All in all a great day. . .

there are so many trails back there that it would be a fun thing to go camp for a weekend and ride around the different trails. Maybe once the snow melts a little more. . .
