Ride on Thursday (5/25) Yuba Gap

Postby oldtrucks » Tue May 23, 2006 8:18 am

Dusty and I are taking a ride on Thursday up near Yuba Gap. We plan on meeting at 8:30 at the offramp from Eastbound I-80 at Yuba Gap, N 39 18. 97 W 120 36. 82

We want to be riding by 9am, and plan on wrapping up no later than 3pm so it will be a shorter day

I remember seeing his Metro Fire hat when in Mina.

Just lost a family friend with Sac Metro.. Terry Benevent - Batalian Chief
. close to 30 years with the dept. - "finished" in Citrus Heights - died suddenly.

He is missed..

No, tomorrow is no good, I have meetings that I can't change, been waiting too long as it is. Thursday may get me in trouble as it is, but I have a week off after that to calm the wife. If I went tomorrow I wouldn't have to worry about Thursday, I wouldn't see it

We knew you were still on the "Injured Reserve", how's the recovery and rehab going?

....and No, I was off Sunday. Glad to miss it, those type of calls tend to be a cluster. Either too many resources respond and you end up waiting for something to do, or you're up to your ass in aligators

Actually... I'm not sure.... Might go Chadd (Chico) way... or Dusty and Oldtrucks way or might head over to PiPi valley and/or Elkins Flats....

PiPi's kinda close.... and if you go to Elkins you lose the crowd.
