Looking for riders/locations western US-Canada for video

Postby Extreme_Velocity » Wed May 03, 2006 7:32 am

Since Extreme Velocity: Mountains & Mud was such a HUGE success we are working on the next installment. I'm looking for great 4x4 quad riders who love to ride the mountains. Email me or PM with any info you have. We will start filming in mid May and go through mid September. I'll be traveling from Utah to possibly AK this summer.

Thanks,

Thomas Opre

Late July or August would work.

The Sierra Trek (huge Jeep run) occurs on the 2nd weekend of August. This year it's 10, 11, 12, 13.

In order to do this run, PG&E reduces the flow of the Fordyce Creek river to around 100. The guarantees that you can cross it.

We did the run that weekend on Quads...The run with some 400 jeeps leaves at 5-530AM...We camped at Fordyce Lake....drove around to the start over Signal Peak...and then did the run around 11am. We caught up to the tail end...around 2-3PM.

Filming...obviously slows you down and it's light until 830PM.

I note that the movie teaser appears to be in a file format Windows does not recognize.
