The river flow was 500+ FPS.

Apparently you can find the flow for the day at:

River crossing

Postby MrPolaris » Mon Jun 14, 2004 10:51 am

Mind you they were probably drunk and thought it would be fun to do this in such a way that the "normal", as normal as us ATV riders are, would do it.

I know that my turtle head would be hiding from that cold water as well. . .

According to the person who this happend to he said the water was colder than anything and it was a scary event for about 30 seconds when he thought he was a goner. There should be about 10 photos there that you can see. Mybe your network is having some trouble.

Nah...I have the 12" high Red Wing Irish Setters. You can stand in almost 1 foot of water, not have a drop in your shoe. And they are COMFORTABLE as a slipper. Amazing boot....but costs about $225.

If the water comes close to the top of my boot...I have bigger issues than wet feet.

I cannot figure out why he stopped in the middle of that river for a little bit, and then down stream there was a yellow stream. . .
