No not at all. I am on the same page there for sure. :)
Ken here's my GPS for our parking spot, 38.42.309N, 120.24.243W It's a good size wide spot on the left side of the road as you go up. The other day the snow on the road started just beyond that. We had 3 pickups and 1 4Runner with a trailer and still had plenty of room. Easy access for 2wd.
Thanks, GPS is great. Ken

I plugged these coordinates into mapsend topo and it showed a location near Black Springs road off highway 4. I am planning on going up Mormon Emigrant trail off highway 50. :? If you have them for that location please post them also. Thanks Ken

That's my wondeful new Magellan. I may have screwed up entering them, I'll check tomorrow when I get home. If it's wrong it's a pretty easy spot to find...go up Mormon Imingrant Trail until you see the sign for North South Rd, do a "U Turn" and the parking area ia about 100 yards back on your right going back toward the lake.

lol, thanks Terry, don't forget your milk

Guessing here, but I think it's about 4000 near Jenkinson Lake, up to about 7500 near the turn off to Leek Springs

Ken I just went to Google Earth and the coordinates I gave you should be pretty close. They showed it as 38 42 18.68 N 120 24 34.95 W. An area they call Stump Springs, Elevation is about 5500 ft.
