Helmet cams

Postby MrPolaris » Mon Jun 14, 2004 6:35 am

Was riding a few weeks ago in Arnold with some of my college roomates and we came upon an accident in the road. A couple 15 year olds had a helmet cam on and were doing some dumb stuff. One came around the corner to fast and smacked into a truck. Compound fractured his Leg and did some serious damage to his brand new bike.

While I was tending to the kid my roomate was watching the video. He did not see the acciednt, but what happened right before it and then after wards the cussing and screaming kid. After we knew the kid was ok we could laugh about it, but pretty cool to have a camera on something like this, if they had only gotten the accident it might have proven who was at fault, the idiot kid for riding in the middle of the dirt road, or the truck who was sitting still cause the kid was coming at him, out of control. . .
