100% True
All three at slow speeds.
One of the roll overs came down on my chest and somehow I kicked the rig (saying to my self oh no not me I'm not going to die here.)and it kept going over. Thank GOD for that one. I would have never been found. Riding by my self. Not a good idea.
The other times I was able to get away. one I walked off, the other I jumped into the mud. Even a 500 is hard to roll back up off the handle bars. I couldn't do it, I had to winch it over the rest of the way. I ride a lot slower these days, and when I'm hauling ass I just think of my son Matthew age eight and My thumb just seems to back off. When we hook up for a ride I'll show you the top of my handle bar controls and top of pod.

We? I seem to remember the pacesetter was you. Some of us were merely trying to keep up or get lost.... :D

Sounds about right. Between Chadd, and two other sportsman riders you may or may not have met yet (Dale and Steve, Dale has a red 800, Steve a yellow 500) I get a run for my money on my Predator. I mean, I'm nice and comfortable hanging the bike out at 45+ in a turn, and those guys are hanging with me.

How the hell they get those Sportsmans to turn, I have no clue. I get on the Sportsmans and anything more than like 25-30 mph it feels like it won't turn and wants to heel over on me.

Bill did you forget where I work? I guarantee your snoring isn't going to keep me awake. But I'll let you do what you want.

Who's in for the ride and planning on staying up there overnight?

Those that are going do we want to try and do a group dinner on Saturday night?

All three at slow speeds.
I'm glad your OK. I've come to the conclusion that a ride with three or more is the way to go. One gets hurt, one stays and one goes for help if necessary and that's in addition to having a SAT phone. I think the low speed rolls IMO (and I've had a few myself) are actually safer.....lol. If that makes any sense.... Unless of course you get impaled or crushed.

No, I was thinking of maybe putting a Tri-Tip on the barbeque, potatoes, salad and a veggie. Just depends how many plan on eating. I'd shop Friday and bring it all up, just divide up the cost. Same thing for breakfast Sunday, nothing too elaborate. Maybe some eggs, sausage, cakes and coffee.

Sounds like fun! I must bow out of this one for my 3 year olds birthday.

I think I'll bolt on a roll bar when I ride with you guys. Accessorize with KC lights and speakers like those wake board boats, lol. Anyway, sounds like a lot of bumps and rolls.

It may sound odd, but I prefer to slide around a corner on the Sportsman when hitting em at higher speeds. I keep the AWD off and use the 800's response to break the rear wheels loose a little. Of course there's a time and place of everything and this is not my standard approach to riding. Most of my miles logged do not inlude rock crawling. Soon to change.

Have fun...be careful!

DP that's a perfectly good reason to miss, they grow up too fast. If the weather holds maybe we can try and put something together the following weekend, perhaps get you on some rocks!
