That route looks about the same as the one to Washington, as far as "legal" roads and distance traveled to get to where we want to go. Ken and I have been talking this morning about some different options. We can add this one to the list. Probably better to talk it over in person on Saturday and let everyone come to a mutual conclusion. We have more information on the Washington thing that we can share face to face.

I was looking at Alleghany too, but I see no way in hell to get there without some serious illegal moves. So I'm bailing on that idea.

I camped at a swimming hole a few years back with some dirt bike guys. Awesome! I was the mule who hauled everyone's gear. Damned bikers... Is this the one?

That one is along the road to Faucherie. The exact coordinates are a closely guarded secret.

Here is another one that is also an easy ride from Meadow Lake, we hit it the following year:

In September of a drought year I wouldn't expect the falls to be nearly as good. By the way, I'm up for bringing anything for din-din that won't get destroyed on the ATV ride in. Or I'm happy to pay someone else to bring something cool that doesn't have to undergo a ride. Was thinking about bringing some dogs and sausages in case Ken's tri-tip isn't enough(?). Buns would be a problem, anyone up for pita bread and maybe some mustard and ketchup if I can fit it?
