Tanker drop

Awesome cockpit video of MAFFS 4 (CA Air National Guard C-130) dropping on the American Fire. He runs west along the North Fork American canyon, then turns east and drops just past Macedon Ridge as far as I can make out. Things look a little different than from on the roads!

Friggin' awesome. This was last year at the Rubicon......hey...i'm going to fly my airplane into a mountain and then turn, drop some red crap.....around 2.30

Tanker 89 is usually flown by Joe "Hoser" Satrapa - a legendary pilot, who first started training in Navy F-8 Crusaders in 1966! Great article here:
