Jeff drove 1 MILE into the entrance without snow tires....there were patches and banks....he came across one too big about a mile in....but he didn't see any major problems with ATV's.

In the lower elevations it's been in the low 90's. This trip should be interesting..... Not sure what type of clothing to bring.... One thing for sure, I'll bring a couple of body bags for the Honda drivers.

Body Bags and Dry bags

Postby MrPolaris » Thu May 06, 2004 7:42 am

I am looking forward to this trip. I am getting my dry bag tomorrow. It is a big one and should fit all my clothes, food and incidentals. I know that I need to take additional gas, but am almost afraid to strap a 5 gallon bomb to my quad and ride down the trail with it. . .

Isn't your Honda a 500lbs bomb? LOL

5 Gallons??

Just get a 1 gallon can. You won't need 5 extra...and probably won't even use the 1 extra. It's just insurance.
