Pierce OHV

Postby Ken » Tue Sep 11, 2012 12:05 am

I got an email from Joe at the USFS.....they are looking for a club to adopt Pierce OHV....anyone interested in that? I have no idea what all would be required...I know they want to put up better signage....so i think a good GPS ride is in order.

Nice to hear we communicate with the USFS. Would we do trail maintenance and such?

I have asked what they would need. Haven't heard.

I'm meeting with them about signage...he said likely end of October or early Nov. So I'll be able to ask then.

I have to ride it to see if it's worth adopting - never have been on it. Wouldn't it be cool if the lawsuit prevailed and we could adopt the Switchback Trail? I need to ride that one again before the door closes and it becomes a stealth run. :-)
