from what i have been reading it was a pretty minor fire and only one rig was involved. everyone else when back to the springs to hang out.

what i don't get is most everyone that wheels carries a fire extinguisher so why wasn't this think put out asap?

Ok...

This is really hard for me. I knew both people well. Rachel and Mike. They were coming down Cadillac Hill...Rachel moved over for another vehicle....slip off the cliff....hit the gas instead of brake...and plunged 150 feet down the mountain. She ended up 75 feet down the hill....burned 3rd degree over 80%...she is still alive. No fire extinguisher would have made a difference....but if it makes you feel better....all vehicles on the Jeepers Jamboree require one.
