Windscreens on a Quad?

My Father-in-Law just bought a 2006 Sportsman 500 HO. He wants to put a windscreen on it. Will you guys please weigh in on your thoughts regarding windscreens on quads?

I told him that a screen would be good for keeping the wind from blowing his skirt up.

LOL.

Windscreens are popular in the midwest...cause it's FREAKING cold. Not cold enough here.

forget the windscreen just another thing to break when you roll.
the heated hand grips helped a ton with keeping me warm. also goggles instead of sunglasses helps too.
