Yeah, I was hoping the big earthquakes would shift my snow around so that I'd be able to get the Grizzlies out. Rats, didn't happen. #-o

Yes, the Grizzlies are still snowbound. Here is what it looks like this morning, and it is actually snowing AGAIN as I write:

There is obviously some improvement back at the den, but the deeper snow is toward the front by the buried trailer. We still need a lot more melting before I'll be able to get them out. Since you're in TN maybe you can do me a favor: call Al Gore, have him grab that "hockey stick" of his and turn on the danged global warming!

Yes, the FedEx guy made it back to his truck. He stopped by after the FedEx President/CEO received my letter about his heroic deed (see my post further up in the thread). He said that he will probably be getting an award and may even be flown back east to meet the President/CEO in person. Meanwhile, no riding for me unless Lassie shows up with a real big winch that can drag my Grizzlies through the snow! :)
Thanks for the update.
What an incredible amount of snow you've had!
I'd be more than happy to send some of this 90+ degree weather we've been having Whoo-eee it's going to be a scorcher this year.

The news about your Fed Ex drive is pretty exciting, I'll bet he was as proud as a kid with a new red wagon. =D>

Oh and if I DO see Al Gore coming up my driveway, he'd likely be picking rock salt out of his back side ;)

BTW - we got 1.3 inches of precip here on Sunday, and even today is at .7 from a steady drizzle. They were saying 4 inches at 6K feet. This is crazy.
These panels are surely bit effective but only in sunny days..If you are able to conserve power than panels are pretty handy.

Unfortunately, Eric died a few days before you posted this.
