Sayin' Hello

Postby Sasquatch » Wed Jan 26, 2011 10:53 pm

Hey guy's and gal's just wanted to stop in and introduce myself so you know I am for real and not a piece of spam mail!

My name is Dave. I am in El Dorado county near Placerville which is east of Tahoe and west of Sacramento.

Found your site while browsing online and wanted to join in hopes of making some new friends and meeting fellow riders to hit some trails!

I have been riding a '00 Yamaha Kodiak 400 for 11 years since it was purchased new... and I just finally "upgraded" to a brand new Yamaha Grizzly 550

I am also an active forum member over on GrizzlyRiders under the same user name of Sasquatch, but I am happy to have found this site as it seems many of you are fairly near by my location.

Lookin' forward to joining you on a ride in the near future!

EDIT: Whoops, I thought I was posting this in the "new member checkin" area...

SPAMMER!!! LOL

Dave gets "I really wanted to join this site" award....after all his issues getting on.

Very nice picture....The main ride Dave that you need to be aware of...is our annual Mr. Miyagi ride..in memory of a friend/rider on the board who died in 2006. The ride is at Meadow Lake....the 2nd weekend in Sept....I think 9,10,11 this year.

Cool - another Grizzly! Welcome!

I'd like to know about the hand guards too - I'm getting tired of being whacked by brush and was thinking about them.

Welcome Sasquatch! It's good to see another Yamaha rider, we're seriously outnumbered by the Polaris guys. I figure give them enough time, and they'll eventually see the light and convert. Either that or they actually think this is a fun way to spend an afternoon:
