Yeah Dave, it's looking like I now have clean sailing over the grass, around the house, and to the street. :-)

If it wasn't for Ken and I having to spend oodles of hours of time working up two of the most awesome Eldorado appeals mankind has ever seen, I'd have probably been out scouting the snow situation myself over the last few days. :D

Well, that's awesome of both of you guys. I'm sure it's an excellent response to them. I wish I had more time to devote but it's been crazy for a number of reasons. It's cool that the Grizzes are out of hibernation! How did your battery charging arrangement work? Good, I hope!

That's great news about you getting laid off, Rockslayer. More time for riding! :D

Well if you only have a little snow patch on Northwoods, then I really need to do some scouting. I think tomorrow I'll get up and start working on replacing that busted arm on my trailer. It's a mechanical task, probably involving the use of two wrenches at the same time, so it may take me all day.

Why? Hello, my name is Eric and I am a software geek...

P.S. - The charger worked out fine Dave, I fired them up a few weeks ago and all was well with the batteries.

It gets even stranger, Kendo. I was sitting at the dinner table tonight and my wife asks ME if we can can go riding on Sunday. She says it is supposed to be warm. So I say 'Huh? Wha?' (because usually I have to pack her out to the Hummer like a sack of potatoes kickin' and screamin')

So there you have it. Call Ted Koppel and get him out of retirement, cause this just isn't normal. :D

Hah! No, I just don't know when she'll want to go. Then once we start riding, she's only good for 2-3 hours or so, then she makes us go home. Ask Hemingray, he can confirm. We had just bagged our 2nd lookout on the 3 lookout loop ride, with the best to come (Verdi)... and she says we gotta head back to the fake Hummer at Little Truckee Summit. :(

I was trying to flash S-A-Y S-O-M-E-T-H-I-N-G to Dave in Morse code with my eyelids, but he didn't get the message, so we had to go home while he bagged Verdi by himself.

Well, there's Bear Valley off 89 - I missed out on that last year on account of the fire restrictions. There's also the entire Yuba Pass area, and the Sagehen Hills... and I bet lots more that GG can tell you about.

Nice Dave, rub it in. All I have to say is… get your danged code speed up!

Rockslayer my friend, the good news just keeps coming for you. First you get laid off and have plenty of time to ride. Now I get to tell you that....

You live in CA's ATV Heaven!

Yeah, for real. There are hundreds of miles of trails/roads in all directions from your house. One of the trailheads is 5 minutes from your/my houses. The longest drive to a trailhead is no more than 45 minutes. Heck, we've even got one starting practically *from town* that hardly any of these people even know about (unless they watch my videos ) . :D

All these other poor suckers from far away places like Auburn (where? ) drive all the way up here, all the time, burning all that gas, and polluting the environment by doing so ( )... just to come to our heaven. Yup. That's right. Straight up truth. :P

I need to BBQ some hot dogs for din-din (I was a good boy today, get my favorite food), but I'll head over to the Trails section later, fire up a thread maybe called "Truckee Trails" or something like that, and give you some pointers. :)

P.S. - Oh, I've *ridden* Northstar before. Not exactly kosher, probably, but I just had to do it once. But I didn't say that, OK? 8)
