Checkin In
I found this forum a few months back from the Pirate board. I finally had to register after seeing D2's pics of Quintette last week. We live in the north bay but have some property near Georgetown off Volcanoville road that we camp at as much as we can. 99% percent of my riding is on the Georgetown divide these days. I had to stay home this weekend or I'd be asking to join you guys heading to Uncle Tom's tomorrow.
Take care,

Bryan

Hi all,
Got a new Grizzly 660 (GF has a Grizz 450 too) a few weeks ago and have really been enjoying learning it (used to be a street bike rider a couple of decades ago - eek!) in the local area.
Glad to be in your backyard (I'm in the I-80 corridor near Applegate) and first found your site by looking for info on Signal Peak, "the hard way". I doubt I can handle that yet, but I've enjoyed all the vids and pix of trips and riding. Look forward to perhaps tagging along on some day trips as I gain some experience. Wish I'd discovered these great little machines long ago!

Hey...Welcome Dave W. Glad you enjoyed it. And I totally know the feeling about wishing I'd gotten one sooner.
The "billy goat" trail up Signal is a butt cheek squeezer...especially when you just drive off the top....

Hello, Just checking. Looking to check you guys out sometime. I currently live in yuba city and do most of my riding in Downieville. The last few weeks I have been trying to get up to poker flat but only make it about a 1/4 mile from empire mine road, then retreat to some lower level trails. I am usually available for short notice rides, although this saturday I have traffic school . Anyway just saying Hi
