Cowboys from Hell....on ATV Tracks

Postby Ken » Sun Feb 15, 2009 8:48 pm

Kendo and I went to China Wall past Foresthill on Friday.

Great powder....3 feet deep or more in spots. What's interesting about the ATV on tracks in the powder, is it piles up in front...and if you hit a drift...you're done. Until you back up, and hit it again, only now the tracks go up and over. Pretty cool....and then you start a new pile.

What luck that Pantera would be playing on the way back and we both keyed in and said "this would be great background music for the video"! LOL

Most of you will probably want to right click on that link and 'Save Target As' for viewing interruption free. It's a pretty big file (87 MB).

yeah..it's the smallest I could do at HD.

I tried to stream it at YouTube...but the copyright police said I didn't have the rights to Pantera.

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOO LAME. I'm not stealing the song...I own the freaking thing. I'm not selling anything (no videos are for sale on YouTube anyway) and someone watching the video...might actually buy the CD because they heard it.

There's NO downside to the publisher. They are such morons.

I dont see any video from robinsons flat, ford point, or even the jumps at humbug canyon less then a mile away......

We'll have to plan a trip to really test them out...

Wow, that's cool!

It's amazing (to me) how smooth that looks and how basically nothing slowed you down. Except the bank at the end, but I imagine if you hit it again, you would have gone right on up and over.

Now you just need to put tracks on your truck, so you won't get stuck in the snow at the top of my driveway like you did last time! :P

Hey Eric, do you have any current pictures of the snow around your house. I remember the pictures from last year and it would be interesting to compare.
