WTF

Postby ToddW » Fri Apr 18, 2008 1:04 am

What are these guys doing?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYZUpwIF ... re=related

Wow, there are TONS of videos of similar stuff on there.

What do they do add a snorkel and some air pockets and float?????

I can't see how it's FUN after the novelty of it wears off...oh and why not just jetski

I don't get it either.

I mean..I could see crossing this, if it was the only to get from point a to point b...but just to do it for fun? Get a boat or a jetski...even an argo.

And the girl on the handle bars in a bikini and no helmet...while knuckle head does a wheelie....That's brilliant. That goes over backward...and she's snapped in half like a twig.

Notice about 3 minutes into the video when they're in the lake and the beer can goes floating by in the lower part of the screen. That's nice. :\

I don't understand the purpose or reasoning. Seems like a bunch of red necks.

That can't be good on the quad either. :?

What I don't get is why SO MANY people are in the videos enjoying it... You know I can see a COUPLE people thinking its exciting, cool whatever but then you look at this video and others and there are 20+ ppl doing it all over.

I think Dave nailed it, that's what they got. When I look at our area and the vast variety of OHV activity all within a couple hours I know how good I got it. Damn glad I don't have to resort to a snorkel to ride

I am no mechanic but is it a good idea to submerge a quad like this?
I also wonder why these guys have not come up with some type of pontoon system to attach to the quad and then they could go up and down the river terrorizing boaters and fisherman.

I like the boat floating by. We must be out of the loop here on the west coast.

Exactly...the boat floating by....takes it out of the Pond category, and puts it in the LAKE category.

Ahh. Lets see how much money we can spend on an ATV and then submerge it in water....for fun. Like others said, if I had to cross the river to get to a good trail, then I would. But not fix the ATV up just to tear it up. I hang out at highlifter sometimes and get some good Brute info, but some of those guys are nuts with the "muddin" Not my cup of tea. Give me some mountains and trails all day long.
