What do you think

Postby FishaHallic » Mon Dec 17, 2007 9:41 pm

Do you think the snow will be too deep up around Boca/Stampede this coming weekend to get a good ride in. I'm not looking to be winching the whole time. A little help please :D .

I don't want to keep a good man down Dave, but it's snowing now and we're supposed to get more snow off and on all week. I can keep you posted if you like but I'm thinking it would be a no-go. Unless you've got a sled.

Probably not this weekend Dave, but I think I may be up for it next weekend.

I'm emailing the 'boys' to see if they'd be interested in a Moonrocks trip.

I'll do one better. To the east of Reno is some pretty darn cool stuff. Just a few minutes out of town, we could ride from there to Virginia City. I went on a jeep run out there and the spur roads and neat stuff to check out was endless. Lots of Mustangs too. I think the area is called Loiston.

Dave,

We'll be going after Christmas...Fri or Sat. I'm not sure where, but possibly around Moonrocks.

A bold statement from the 'steel trap'. I guess he has every confidence that he will remember where al lthe bolts go and Lori's quad will actually be done by then.

We'll just see about that......

Hey Ken, we're trying to dump our kids those days (out of school) with my parents or my sister. Trying to talk my wife into a ride those days too. Lets keep in touch.

It's definitely going to be Friday, unless something strange happens.

My 2 choices would be Foresthill or Moonrocks. I'm assuming that there's still not too much snow at the lower elevations at Foresthill. Moonrocks is a guaranteed riding place, unless it's snowing that day. No thanks towing 4 quads over the summit.

I'M OUT. Gotta work on Friday, but if something changes and you go Saturday or Sunday I'll be in.

I know what you mean by going over the summit in the snow. I went to SF for the weekend and came home on Monday around noonish and it was snowing up that way. I mean it was not even that bad and I saw 2 cars in the snow bank (one was a nice looking Porche), gotta be a bear on a good snow fall I imagine.

If you guys are going to moon rocks I will make my best effort to get out of work. I never been there and been wanting to go.
