Fordyce Creek Pics...
Dusty and I hit the Fordyce last Friday....pics and video are up. Here's some samples.
You decide...
Notice the flag on the Signal House
And he lost his LOPPY bolt.
He had it here
Check out the Video page...for a cool video of Dusty crossing the Fordyce and filling up his Belt housing.

BTW...with the slower water...I went this way again (no pictures)
Where my front end is, IS the deepest part....it gets shallower as you go past the rock. Just good info to know.

Wow, you guys were really smokin' down that trail. Winch hill #1 in only an hour!
"Yeah, you can go across, its no big deal, just turn to the left"
"So make it happen"
"You're not even over your tires, you f**"
That's code for 'I hope you can swim, because you're about to sink', right?

LOL. He was whining...."There's a hole here!"
And...just so it's known....the first river crossing where Dusty floated...I did it first. He didn't see me float.....so, I just neglected to tell him. If you notice, he's coming back. We both went across...then I went back...and encouraged him to do the same on film.
I figured with flow at 85...it was a good time to test other routes. Better to know there's a hole at 85, than at 500. Right Keith?

Because when I woke up, it was colder than a witch's teat in a brass bugle. By the time it "warmed up" I figured your camp would look like this (empty) like when I rolled in the day before:Loppy wrote: Eric, why didn't you come back over yesterday morning? There was about a foot of fresh up on Verdi Peak. Lorren cut a side wall. Fishaholic came by. It was an awesome ride!
Except maybe for a whole mess of snow, of course.
Dohhhh!! Sounds like I missed a great ride. Good for you guys in showing us sissy local boys how to handle the snow.
P.S. - One word for Lorren: Bighorns.
