Hunter Lake Corridor open?

Does anyone know if the Hunter Lake Corridor is accessible? The Toiyable closure for the Hawken Fire in July closed the burn area and the area in the path of the fire, but now with it done, only the burn area is closed. I can't tell from the fire maps and the topos if the access from Reno is in fact in the burn area. It looks very close.
