07-14-07 Klamath River Canyon Ride

Postby ACLakey » Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:15 am

I introduced a buddy to the world of ATVing this past weekend. So we borrowed Dad's Hawkeye and made about a 50mi trip into the Klamath River canyon and showed him the historical sites along the old Ager-Linkville trail. The Ager-Linkville trail was part of the Applegate Trail system that stemmed off the Oregon Trail. Great area.

Pic from along the canyon.

Further down we checked out the Way Cemetary. There are some grave stones date back to the late 1800's

We ate lunch above one of the Class V sections of the river.

I think he is hooked!!

Being that the access to the river is sparse, it fishes well :D
