I know where, or think I know where La Porte is, but what is the best way to get there from the Auburn area? it looks like it is north of 49, but no major road goes through there. . . (Hwy 49 is way south)

Mr. Bill did you know that Teri and Bill moved to Ridgecrest? Doubtful you'll see them at La Porte

The Best way in is from Hwy 20 outside of Marysville. There is a large gas station at the corner of Marysville and Hwy 20 to look for.

Take Marysville Rd toward Browns Valley and Bullards Bar. In about 10 miles you'll see signs for Collins Lake and you'll soon see the lake on your right. Just past the lake Marysville Rd turns to the right toward Oregon House and Bullards Bar, STAY STRAIGHT on Willow Glen towards Brownsville. This is the only place you can really get lost, STAY STRAIGHT. Once you pass through Brownsville the road gets narrow and windy, follow the main road and it will take you right into La Porte.

cool, that is what I saw as well when I looked at Google maps, but was hoping that local knowledge would show me a better route. . .

I guess will now wait to hear back on if this is a for sure thing. . .

We've had a firm date since last year. Sept 14, 15, and 16. (Fri/Sat/Sun). The location has been the only question since the TNF closure.

Hey it's as much the rider as it is the ride. That old Honda looked pretty good last year doing those wheelies!
