Mountains & Mud video info.

Postby Rider11x » Tue Oct 10, 2006 1:14 am

I am really curious as to the set up that was on the blue Grizzly in the Area 51 segment. What sizes front and rear and type of tires was he running in that shoot? Did he use wheel spacers, or not? I THINK the tires are Maxxis Mudzillas....Not sure. I am really intrested in running a similar set up on mine for extreme conditions riding.

Thanks for any help... 8)

I can't say for sure but it looks like he is running 27X12 Zillas all the way around. Anybody know more?

That's what it looks like to me....and if that's true...he would HAVE TO run spacers.

With those tires in front....the only practical application would be mud and snow.

Well...for snow and mud...I could definitely see the advantages....floatation being key.

Any other application, and you've got some hard steering on your hands...even wheel spacers with regular tires increase the ARMSTRONG effect.

Thanks, I was really curious on that. We'd have to get alot more snow here before I'd be able to justify spending that kind of cash on a tire/ wheel setup like that. Looks cool in the video though!!

When is #2 coming out anyway? I am ready!! If he ever comes to the east coast, I can show him some really long wheelies on the Grizzly!
