Miyagi Memorial Photo Update

Postby Ken » Sat Oct 07, 2006 10:31 am

I know that everyone is jonesing for the photos....I HAVE been working on them.

I spent 5 hours on it yesterday...just getting most of the photos twisted right side up and making them 800x600 or 600x800. I still have 120 or so photos to go (sigh)

The good news....We have some insanely beautiful and cool shots.

The bad news for me (and good news for you) is that I have just a hair over...800 photos. Yes...800 photos to sort through, put in order since I have 6 different photographer source to put back into sequence. I think this ride...due to the scope of nearly 1000 photos to sift through, is that I'm going NOT write a blurb on every photo. I think I'll put them in numerical sequence, so at least you won't be jumping from Friday to Sunday, back to Friday, then Saturday....ok..you get it. Once I have them in numerial sequence, I will then pick and choose select photos to comment on.

Before that though...once I have them all the correct size...All the photographers will get a link to download the final group. I'll zip 'em up and give you a link to download.

I feel for you. After sorting through only 400 photos from Mina I know how long it takes to sort and choose the pictures, then add the captions, Aye Carumba!

So two takeaways from this...
Ken wrote:The good news....We have some insanely beautiful and cool shots.
#1: No pictures of Ken.
Ken wrote:I'm going NOT write a blurb on every photo.
#2: Ken is lazy.

Just kidding!! :D Seriously though, looking forward to the pictures!

Definitely Dave.

It's Annual and will always be the 2nd weekend in Sept.

I have Day 1 and 2 completed....and Day 3 and 4 will be done this weekend. Then I will start working on Moab....Larry was there...so YOU do the math on the photo count.
