We took a good sized group down to the lower Klamath river canyon to look for the wild horses again, some of the wifes thought they were a myth. :) A quick picture before we headed out. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/junfan/ATV/05-07-11%20Pokeg/100_2292.jpg We made several stops, this one by ...

Myself and a couple friends went on an exploratory ride into an area neither of us had been in for a few years.  We unloaded with a little show around and 25 deg temps....it was sunny though. :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/junfan/ATV/04-30-11%20Pokeg/100_2261.jpg It didn't take long to fin...

Re: Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 Tires.

GR, You should have had these by now.. have you got them mounted up and have your ridden on them? How about some pics?? I'll likely have a set this time next year. My stock PXT's are doing fine and have tons of tread. So baring a torn side wall or some such, it will be a while for mine. I would lik...

Re: Geocaching in Russel Valley Area

I have the Delorme PN40 and it has been a solid reliable unit for me. One great feature is you can use rechargables, when it is plugged into a quad or vehicle it charges and is always ready to go when the quad is off or using it in hand.

Re: Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 Tires.

Ken, I have a buddy that runs an ATV magazine site and did a comparison of the Bighorns and the 2.0 version. He stated the 2.0 were not nearly as durable and he has had three flats in 1000mi where the origionals have not had a flat in over 2000mi.

12-23-10 Chase Mnt Snow Ride

A small group of us decided to brave the temperatures in the teens and go for a snow ride. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/junfan/12-23010%20chase/100_2217.jpg Only the third trip out on the new quad....need to break it in right. :) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/junfan/12-23010%20chase...

Re: Grizzly Power Steering Issues

Update...I was going to flush my unit out with WD40 and drain. So I filled the unit with WD40 and in the process of taking the housing apart I broke the head off a bolt so I was not able to drain the fluid. I decided what the hell and went hunting and have put about 500 mi so far with the unit fille...

A Boy and a Trophy Bear

I started out the day taking my daughter out to shoot my deer under the Oregon Mentor program. We hiked to a rocky knob over looking a drainage where deer frequently travel. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/junfan/Hunting/October%202010/DSC00086.jpg We saw a half dozen does and fawns, but nothi...

Re: Spammers

Ya, when I got our site up and running we were getting close to two dozen a day. I did some of the same upgrades and also added one that asks some very simple questions like "Are you human?". So far that has taken care of the problem for us.

Re: Tire tip - slow leak

Yep, I had the same issue a while back and came to the same conclusion. Another place to look when you have a slow leak is the valve core, they can show the same symptoms. I am glad you got yours figured out.
