Re: MASH - Yes the TV Show
Interesting info...
Great show...grew up watching it and now have the entire series on DVD. Just wish they could've stayed true to the earlier episodes that weren't so moralistic.

Re: Customizing Front Suspension on '99 Sportsman
Bottom line, just buy the original replacement parts from the start. It may seem expensive, but as you can see, it gets even more expensive when you begin to modify!!!

Re: Customizing Front Suspension on '99 Sportsman
So far,so good. Everything is working properly. No leaks and the new armature plates have the hubs working perfectly again. New tires are on the way as we are tired of that "balloon" tire roll over feeling. Not real happy with Tires Unlimited right now. I called to make sure they had the tires in s...

Re: Customizing Front Suspension on '99 Sportsman
Update: Well, what started as a way to save $$$ has now cost more! I had a problem with a tightness in the steering, so further investigation led to the discovery that while up on stands, the front struts lifted up every 3/4-1 turn. Here the u-joint end is binding from the extra lift. So two new axl...

Well, it took a little while to get everything just the way I needed, so here is a play by play. The front struts on the newer models (I believe they started in '05) have @ 31mm more travel, not to mention the tube is longer...yeah, I know....duh! Anywho, The struts/springs I tried to use off an '08...

No, this is for 2 struts,2 shocks and 4 springs. All stock. I am gonna have to ask you to give me a few days to see if there is a way to get a custom spacer built to allow me to use the newer struts with the older springs. I really don't have the $$$ yet for brand new struts and springs as I just st...

Rear Shocks/Springs & Front Struts/Springs from '08 Popo
I bought the full set to try on our 99, but the springs for the front are just too stiff and the strut has another 1" travel. It did jack the front up pretty good. It could work if you add a 1" lift in the rear, but not what i am looking for. I can get the exact part #s if you need. So, if anyone is...
