Little Truckee Summit - If you can only go to one trailhead, this is the one. Tons of options. Ride over to Bear Valley OHV, Meadow/Bowman Lake Areas, Gold Lake/Valley, Plumas NF, Verdi, NV, wherever... all within riding range. From Truckee, take 89 north towards Sierraville, look for turn to Jacks...

Plus any "must have" stuff I wouldn't think of. Look forward to hanging out with you guys, and puttin on some miles. I am planning on taking my son riding and fishing. I know I can ride into the area around Bowman and Meadow lakes. There are also several other smaller lakes in the area. This was the first trail ride for my 5yr old son, anyway here a a couple of pics. didnt take very many (i was to busy worrying about the slight inclines and the of camber areas on the trail, make sure to use your brakes ..... slow down..........dont let off the gas going up the hill son... etc..lol...
