here is my current method. the box is tied down with the big zip ties so it can be removed to get under trees across the trail, ect.. and the fuel pack can be slid out without removing the box. not perfect, but it works...

yea, use low range for your slow going or hard pulls. i use it for anything under 20-25 mph (which is most of the time). it has the power to spin, but the belt takes the brunt of it. i have 900 miles and no belt issues. be careful in reverse, too. reverse is geared higher than low range.
