She made it to the jury box....and they asked her something ..I don't remember exactly...and her answer was.....Would he be here if he wasn't guilty? NEXT! bounced her right there...service served. LOL! Yeah, it's real easy to get booted. The tough part is getting ON the damned jury! It seems like ...

Re: Wow....61 Yr old arrest for holding robber at gun point
Id hang that jury for sure if i was sitting on it that's if charges are brought up on this guy (i doubt the DA will prosecute though). Yes! Along those lines, here is some good reading from the Fully Informed Jury Association: Jury Protection for Second Amendment Of course before you can nullify a ...

Re: New Toys
Cool! $0.49 vs. $1.30 per round sounds like some nice savings for only 2 hours of fun work. Having more control of the load and being able to tweak it for your particular gun is priceless.

Re: Wow....61 Yr old arrest for holding robber at gun point
Pretty crappy, eh? It was the warning shot that got him into trouble. Holding robbers at gunpoint is even legal in CA, so it's probably legal in NH. FYI in California we private citizens have virtually the same arrest powers as the cops, and this in the penal code is what allows us to hold people at...

Re: Apple Store
I've still got the original iPad. I only use it for two things: remote control for my Sonos music system, and reading while sitting on the toilet. It works fine for both so I guess I won't upgrade. Unless they add a built-in TP dispenser, that is.
Re: New Toys
Wow! A .410 is nothing, I still have the single-shot .410 that my dad trained me to hunt quail with. What's your recipe for the reloads? How heavy is the bullet?

Re: Ken's new rollcage
That thing is unbelievably cool looking!
Were you doing this just to get something that looks awesome, or was there a problem with the original cage?

Re: Who flies those helos for CalFire?
My high school owned two Cessna 150's and we could take flight instruction for $2/hour and that included the plane, instructor, gas and the works. The instructor was one of our teachers and we could taxi from our hangar across Airport Road and onto the runway. Didn't even have to leave school, you s...

Zowie!
When the first SAM fires you can hear them say it is an SA-2. Those are the same missiles that the North Vietnamese used to shoot at our guys back then. They called them flying telephone poles because that's how big they are.
