Uh, can somebody help me find my quad?

I'm looking for a ride to tag along on for Sunday. Anybody going up in the foothills (Foresthill or G-town divides) to play in the snow?

I don't want to end up on the news, so I should not go by myself.

The problem occurs when the tank is low when I leave altitude. There is more air in the tank to compress. Same thing when you use a water bottle in the mtns and by the time you get home it is scrutched up.

I will check my gas cap for any signs of a vent that may be plugged.

When I head down from the hills my gas tank compresses and the gas cap cuts into the fender making it really difficult to remove. To address the issue I have to loosen the cap to allow air into the tank before I leave elevation. Is this a design defect or is it just my quad (07 KK)?

Ok, I know there has been more than a little discussion on this but I want to distill the opinions to their essence. I have an 07 King Quad 700. I ride below 30 mph always and I rarely exceed 15 mph. I like to ride technical stuff, but not crazy technical. I have a full time job (no serious injuries...

Tonight (Monday) at 8:00 on PBS. The B-17 gunner they interview is my dad.

I was out there on Sat morning too. Lots of people on the Rubicon so I turned around and rode up to Bugle Lake and around Bunker Hill. Only saw a few people there.

I'm gonna ride around McKinstry Lake area on Sunday.

I'm looking for a ride this weekend. Anybody going to brave Memorial Day and head to the hills? I'd prefer not to ride alone.

I used to wheel on the ridge above Silver Lake and the Mud Lake area. There is (was?) a cool trail that went through Allen Camp and looked down on Silver Lake from the south side. The trail becomes too technical for a stock 4x4 truck, but it would be perfect for quads. Anybody done this trail lately...
