Has anyone been to Pipi valley recently? I was wondering if the roads are open, and if there is much snow on the trails. I'm thinking about going there this weekend.

Never, ever buy from someone who is in a foreign country...no matter the sob story. Remember when Terry was looking to buy a quad from that guy in Germany? The price was too good to be true (you know what they say about that). When Terry said he was going to be in the area on business, and would be...

Hey skye, welcome. I'm one of the few sport quad riders here. We're heading down to Pismo this weekend. What did you get tired of down there? Just curious.

We're hauling the toys down to Frank Raines this weekend. No snow but plenty of hills and rocks. And a lot closer than Hollister.

Is it a lot quicker that the Outlander 800 EFI? It's listed as weighing 597 pounds, which is only 42 pounds lighter than the big 800. It sure looks mean.

I agree, it's more appropriate for that PowerStroke diesel. Since it doesn't have a 6-speed Allison tranny, it needs all the added torque it can get.

Good backpacking type pillow

You guys go camping all the time. Can anyone recommend a good backpacking type pillow. I'm going on a 2 week motorcycle trip and space is limited. Leaving the toy hauler at home this time. The Thermarest compressable pillow looks decent. Before I shell out 30 bones for one I wanted to see what other...

Did anyone take some laps around the quad mx track? It looked like fun last time I was there but I didn't bring my quad that time, just the bike.

Not many hills but there are lots of rocks. They even have a MX track just for quads. If that flamboyant weatherman is right, there should be plenty of mud.

Pipi Valley has a lot of nice trails. It would normally be covered with snow this time of year but it really hasn't snowed much. It's off of Hwy 88, not too far from Jackson.
