Any of you 2005 owners having problems?
I am still thinking about an 06 500 EFI when it comes out but I noticed several guys with the 05's having problems. Some of the guys I ride with are having head bolts back out and other annoying but not major problems. My uncle in Idaho bought one in late June and we went on a ride while I was over ...

Bombadier's new 800
http://www.atvconnection.com/atvconnection/Community/Chat/Bombardier-800.cfm http://www.off-road.com/atv/reviews/quads/2006bombardier/outlander800/intro.html Sounds like a great machine. My buddy has an Outlander 400 and it is a very solid quad. From what I have read by people who have compaired it ...

UHMW This Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene...yes it is a plastic. You can machine it just like metal, ie mill, drill, tap, turn on a lathe ect. Like stated above if you heat it you can bend it into just about any shape. When it cools the bend is set. It is VERY impact and abrasion res...

I would highly reccomend UHMW. Here is a post I made from another board. Has anybody used UHMW to create skid plates and stick stoppers yet? I used to work for a Mechanical/Manufacture engineering firm and we used this material for many applications. It is light, STRONG , Very abrasion resistant and...

Drawback.... The 500's are very noisy. What do you mean by that statement? I have not noticed the 500 HO to be any noiser than any other single. I am still in a tossup between the EFI 500 HO or the 700 KQ. My buddy has a KQ and I don't want to get the same quad that he has for a few personal reason...

2006 500 HO EFI?
You all have probably heard the rumors floating around. I have a friend who is a mechanic at the local Polaris shop and he was talking about the 06 500 HO EFI the other day. I think that would be a GREAT quad for just about any application. The benefits of EFI on the proven 500 mill is a strong sell...

They are something else. I went to the Polaris shop on my lunch today to order some parts for the kids quad. They had one there I took for a spin, Very impresive. I rode my buddies KQ 700 with ATR's quite a bit yesterday afternoon so I got a good feel for it and was thinking of buying one. I have to...
