I think the NV ATV's would need the Non-Resident OHV Permit since NV doesn't even require the ATVs to be registered in their state, so a reciprocal arrangement like CA has with Utah and some other states wouldn't be possible. The two NV guys who bought our old Grizzlies last month were happy to see ...

From another thread: Not to hijack the tread, but could you post more on your Grizzly tire and wheel combo and what you think of them in the Yamaha section. I need to replace the stock paws. Sure thing. I'm running 25" bighorns with wheels from MotoSport Alloys on both of our Grizzlies. My camo Griz...

Great acting. I don't think we'll see that one on the Disney Channel. Maybe the Playboy ATV channel, if it existed. Or should that be the Playgirl ATV channel? Logo?

So far in attendance, if I missed you....Post up! Put me down for a definite maybe. That weekend happens to be the weekend before my company's annual user conference begins here in Truckee (OK, technically in Squaw Valley, but it's all the same to me). So if my lovely, talented, beautiful wife can ...

where are your leafy greens on that plate. . . I think the leafy greens were used AFTER the meal.. Some leafy greens sure would have helped avoid this meal's "ending". I was hoping to have a nice salad of indian lettuce, wild spearmint and maybe a pine nut or two. But I rode into that camp site a l...

Dang, you guys camp in style, even when you're just camping on your trailer! The last time I went ATV camping, dinner started out like this: http://www.grizzlyguy.com/photos/179569039-M.jpg Turned into this: http://www.grizzlyguy.com/photos/179569197-M-1.jpg And "ended up" looking about the same. :c...

Are you saying that if I drove into the Indian Springs staging area, unloaded, and rode up the access road to Signal Peak... I'd be OK? I'm good with just that, I could shoot an entire ATV video just on that access road. :D These pictures that Hemingray took at Indian Springs tend to suggest otherwi...

Signal Peak is Open(?)
Here is an excerpt from the TNF fire restriction map that you can download from the bottom of this page : http://www.grizzlyguy.com/photos/185733875-M.jpg If I read this right, I can ride down the Signal Peak Trail, as long as I turn around and ride back up it. I just can't drive into the Indian Spr...

Well I'll be gosh-darned-danged, good work Ken! I swear that map wasn't available for download when they first announced the latest fire restrictions. Or maybe I just missed it. :? There is a link to it from the bottom of this page for anyone else that wants to download it: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/t...

Well, we're back!! What a trip! First of all, the road going to Ross Camp is TIGHT!!! We literally had inches on either side of the trailer in spots. Sorry Kendo, I didn't mean to send you up the Road from Hell. I didn't ride down past Ross CG, I just figured that it would get even wider and...

Trail to Blumville (Plumas NF)
On the second day of my 2-day 'Voyage of Discovery' into Plumas NF, I encountered a fun little road/trail on my way home. It is 22N43Y and heads west from the big forest road 10 (23N10) about midway between Harrison Flat and Turkeytown mine. Here is a map excerpt with my track log: http://www.grizzl...

Ken, All of the Tahoe NF routes that you can ride to from that area of Plumas NF are closed. They had even posted warnings up at A Tree stating that. The warnings were the same as the ones they have out at Indian Springs. Too bad, because that is some really pretty country. Here are some shots taken...

I'll let you know Chadd, because I had so much fun out there that I have to go back! I need to get the Grizzlies in for their first service, then survive a week in Utah's Arapeen system, and I'll be all ready to hit Plumas again. :) I missed the one you describe going around Table Rock, but I did ri...
