Reading all the horror stories about the Rangers and tickets makes me leery about even going there. I can't believe all the ridiculous laws!

I have to say, you are more likely to be able to reach someone on a Ham Radio than a Cellular Phone in an emergency. The No Code tech license is easy to get and a lot of fun too!

It's pretty darn easy to get a no code tech ham radio license. Then you can use some quality equipment! Not much bigger than a pack of smokes this radio also can link through repeaters. No code tech license is easy to get.

I've put a CB on a quad and with a few modifications, can work quite well. It's a lot of work to talk to your riding partner(s) though.
