What did you guys end up doing? Did you do Fordyce? or... cruise up to Signal Peak and over to Fordyce lake? Yep, all that and then some. Rode Fordyce up to the first crossing, still way too much water to cross. Then did some exploring in the Pierce area West of the main road. Went up Signal Peak, ...

Larry... your welcome to go. Noticed your on a Suzuki King quad..... Thanks, as of yesterday we had 4, but by this morning they all started floundering. Usually a sure sign that they're laying the ground work to cancel. So far I pleased with the Suzuki, I know it's in need of different tires though...

I'm doing something, still waiting to hear back from my flakes, I mean friends. For some reason these guys can't find the sack to commit or get a hall pass from their mommy. If they bag out I'd like to join up with you guys if it's OK?

A couple friends and I putting something together on Sunday. Still trying to decide where. We really wanted to try Fordyce again but flows are still at 300 CFS, so that don't look good. Talking about going up the Rubicon or possibly the Barrett Lake Trail.

I tried their web page, not much on GPS, and no sign of the Explorist XL. I'm going to drive over tomorrow morning and take a look. I found a place online that is taking "Pre-orders" on the XL at $350. I was able to get the GPS, Topo software, and mount, delivered for $450. Now it's just wait and wo...

I like the goodies in Frys....but getting help is an exercise in futility. I stood there with no intent to buy, holding it...check it out...trying to turn it on...nothing. I was there for a good 5 minutes....nobody cared. I'd go there to check it out....then try to find it online....There's so many...

It's out. OK, guess I'll stop by Fry's on Friday and see what's included. I like everything you pointed out, USB and SD just seems like no brainers, and their topo is awesome. My only concern would be water and dirt in the SD slot. I know, they're outdoor toys, they should be sealed up and not have...

Last time I looked they say the XL is "coming soon", sure wish I knew what that meant. I checked a number of internet dealers and they don't have them. I hope it's out before Xmas, like to put that on my wish list for my wife.

2005 Suzuki King Quad Recall.... Tie Rod Ends

I just got a recall for my 2005 Suzuki King Quad, Tie Rod End replacement. Said they assembled it improperly and the ends could be damaged. I called the dealer where I bought it, Apex in Auburn, and here's their story. He ran my VIN, ordered parts (could be 3-5 days), going to call when he's got the...
