It sounds to me like you are just in need of a upgraded filter like K&N or maybe UNI... (there are others)

Hi Dave. What size is your new Grizzly... a 700? If you are looking for a less restricted lid, there is a company called EHS Racing that makes a sweet setup for that machine.
