GPS/ Topo

Ok, I broke the old gps and am looking for a new one. I want to get a mapping gps that has the capability of detailed national forest roads and back country features (lakes, streams, camping etc...).

Any suggestions?

The rainbow people hit the Lassen National Forest last summer for their anual gathering. The Federal Forest Service and the local Sheriff were overwelmed. Google these freaks as the Rainbow Family. They show up in pos vehicles, cut down and tear up the forest and leave their trash behind. Pretty ser...

Quaddgoddess, There is nothing like the introspection of the female mind to put things into clear view. But alass fair maiden the male mind is at work as well. I fell in love today

I made the fatal mistake of stopping by the dealer today. There she was sitting right there before me looking as seductive as possible. She was decked out in the hunter edition 700 efi. I got on, pushed her button and went for a ride. I know what you're all thinking and you're right....I cheated on ...

What happens when?

What happens when the computer takes a dump on the efi models?

Does it go into a mode where it runs rich so that you can get it home or does it just stop running?

I'm looking hard at a 700 efi but I just get a little scared thinking about having a computer failure.

Maybe in the long run you're lucky?

My first and only experience with ebay was bad so I've never bought again.

I don't remember the name of the dealer but it is a Honda dealer (that carries) Polaris just east of Sr-99 in downtown Stockton. My buddy and I stopped there several years ago while returning from Yosemite on our sport bikes. I had a problem with my bike and they jumped right on it, back on the road...

Thanks for all the input, especially the womens perspectives as I am looking for a quad for my wife as well. I am moving from an Arctic Cat 400 only to get efi. We will be using the quads for work around the place, hunting, fishing and camping.

Thanks to all.

Polaris Efi's

I am thinking about getting a new bike and was wondering how anyone that has a Polaris EFI likes the bike. I am not sure but will probably going with a 500. Are there any problems with these bikes, other than dispacement, power and speed is the 700 a more dependable platform? Thanks for the help guy...

Where did you rent the phone from and how long did it take to get it?
