Alloy vs Steel lug nut ???

Last week I bought a set of factory RzR take offs. The rims are 12" Polaris Crusher rims and brand new 26" Maxxis Big Horn tires. I cannot go to pick them up until later this week. My question is about the lug nuts. Will I need different nuts for these rims than I have with my steel rims that are on...

Re: Polaris Sportsman Heady Duty front springs

I didn't order mine by mistake, I meant too!! LOL

But I also have them and what a difference!!! I'm a bigger guy at 6' 230# and these made a huge difference in my riding as well as when plowing. I recommend them!!

Good luck with the sale,

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

UPDATE: Well I picked up my machine Thursday.... All I can say is WOW!!! Now that the belt/CVT is working properly, this thing has nearly twice the power!!! I rode around the dealer to the trailer, when I got out to the wide open, clear parking lot, (in high) I stabbed the throttle and the front whe...

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

Thanks for the tips! I have been plowing snow in trucks, Jeeps and small John Deere machines for a number of years, just new to it with the Polaris. I have always plowed with this machine in LO. From day one I found a miss with the machine. Or so I thought... In reality it was bouncing off the rev l...

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

Well, I called the dealer yesterday... It seems they only just ordered the parts last Friday...(What have they been doing for almost two weeks??). They didn't arrive Monday and we are currently in the middle of a bad snow storm, so services will be delayed until Thursday at the earliest. More likely...

Secondary compression tool...

HELP!! Anyone ever make their own? I'm a welder, so that part is easy. I have a 12" of all thread, welded to a piece of angle iron. Then I took a nut and welded a "handle" to it. Now I need to make the "collar" that contacts the secondary... I need some dimensions. Specifically the diameter and heig...

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

Shifting without the foot-brake into P and H, depends on the year. 2005 or older...you have to press on the brake 2006, no brake required. Still need to be stopped though. Just wondered where you got this information? My manual says to depress the foot brake before shifting into HI or PARK. My pop ...

Re: I found oil in my clutch cover...

yup..that will cause slipping. To address some of your other stuff.... Plowing, should always be done in LOW range. If you aren't going over 15mph...you should be in low. If it was just the belt and not the oil...change the belt is a 10 minute thing. Thanks, yea, I do plow in LO but who know what t...

I found oil in my clutch cover...

Mornin guys, I need advice... My question is. I know my belt on my '07 700 EFI is slipping. I do have a replacement. I also want to do a EPI clutch kit before next seasons riding. Trouble is its slipping now and I have snow to move. I'm plowing in LO and not pushing it really hard. I have a small dr...

Re: bolt pattern for polaris

I'm assuming that its a standard 4on4 pattern. If so you could do same as I did. (As long as the rims back space allows it to fit under the trailer. TrailBoss, TrailBlaser rear rims fit just fine. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v465/CWLONGSHOT/Quads/9dfa0b88.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: K&N Air Filter

I bought the UNI for just this reason.
I haven't got it on yet... gains will be small as I have read that the puter needs to be remapped for any additions like this or exhaust before any gains are actually realized.
